Back in my last year of university, I stumbled upon this career not knowing what I was in for. I had only one goal in mind, “I want to do financial planning”. My parents are firm believers of insurance and doing proper financial planning, needless to say, as a child I benefited greatly from this. I have since seen the value and importance of proper financial planning and thus want all the people that I care about to benefit from it the same way as I did.
Knowing the bad stigma of this industry, it did not deter me, I felt that I still could not back down and be discouraged, I still wanted to make a change. I firmly believe in understanding you as person before making any recommendations, and I too believe in value adding before anything else. Every portfolio is uniquely crafted towards your needs and current situation in life, and my commitment to you will be that the approach I take will be no different from how I would plan for my dearest.

Previously I have zero interest and I feel that financial planning is not needed for my age. However, Yih Lin has shared the importance of having financial planning and what are some of the important plans that one should have. She explained it in the simplest form and use a simplified explanation to teach me the importance of financial planning.
Having her as my financial advisor, I can trust her with the plans. She also persuaded my partner on the importance of purchasing some of the plans (such as hospital plans).
